The typification of two names in the genusFumana:F. fontanesiiClauson ex Pomel andF. grandifloraJaub. & Spach (Cistaceae) is discussed. The designation of the nomenclatural types is based on the assessment of the respective protologues and the original material. The nameF. fontanesiiis lectotypified using a specimen from Clauson's material at MPU, andF. grandiflorausing a specimen preserved at P and collected by Aucher-eloy in Turkey.
