摘要

•RV lateral wall work is asymmetrically higher in PH compared with shams.•In pulmonary regurgitation, lateral and septal work were symmetrically higher versus sham.•Asymmetric RV work and increased wasted septal work in PH are associated with RV fibrosis and dysfunction.•Patients with PH demonstrated similar asymmetric and inefficient regional myocardial mechanics.
