摘要

•Visual Perspective Taking (VPT) follows a neural time course reflected in ERPs.•ERP-versions of the VPT paradigm (avatar task) are long and do not use all trials.•Using all trial types does not affect the neural time course of VPT.•Analysing a subset of the data suggests the task can be reduced with 30 min.•A reduced paradigm is better suited for use in clinical populations.
