摘要
•There is a potential impact of an innovative teaching method.•The peer-to-peer model used self-instruction videos in support of peer-to-peer instruction combined with guided debriefing.•The structured curriculum model for peer-to-peer instruction of basic airway management was not inferior to standard instructor-led teaching in knowledge, skill, or attitude (confidence).•The students had an opportunity to develop their teaching skills through the peer-to-peer method.•The peer-to-peer teaching method has the benefit of reducing cost and instructor workload.
