摘要
— Methods of numerical modeling were used to study the electrophysical effects in the boundary zones of phases that are formed during the passage of an electric current through a metal melt volume with inclusions of conductivity other than the matrix conductivity. The possibility of changing the crystallization stimulus of the liquid-metal system was shown to be subject to the electric current treatment. Qualitative and quantitative patterns in the process of the formation of the surface effects at the phase boundaries are established. This was conditioned by their orientation relative to the current lines and different conductivities of the phase and matrix. The electric current effect under study was found to change the shape, size, and orientation of the growing phases in the melt.
