摘要
By applying the mixed-ligand approach, a new Cu(II)-based coordination polymer formulated as {[Cu-2(BTC)(L)]center dot 0.25H(2)O} (n) (1) has been successfully prepared by reaction of Cu(NO3)(2)center dot 3H(2)O with the 1,2,3,4-butanetetracarboxylic acid (H4BTC) in the presence of a flexible N-donor ligand 1,6-bis(5,6-dimethylbenzimidazol-1-yl)hexane (L). In biological function study, the anti-bacterial activity of compound in vitro and in vivo was evaluated. The minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC) of compound on Staphylococcus aureus was measured to evaluate the inhibitory activity against bacterial infection in vitro. The colony-forming unit number detection was conducted to confirm the protective effect of compound in the Catheter-associated urinary tract infections.
