摘要
This paper presents a new coordinated control strategy using immersion and invariant (I&I) adaptive and backstepping passive control for STATCOM and generator excitation in order to conquer the influence of the uncertain damping coefficient and external disturbance on the system stability. In designing the coordinated controller, the adaptive estimation law of damping coefficient is designed by adopting immersion and invariant (I&I) adaptive control method, and the control law of STATCOM is designed based on backstepping method, and the generator excitation control law is obtained by combining passivity theory. For overcoming the "explosion of complexity" problem, a nonlinear damping algorithm is introduced to deal with the uncertainties, which consists of the influence of external disturbance and virtual control. The simulation results show that the designed coordinated controller effectively improves the stability of the power system and has strong adaptability and robustness.
