Recommending tags for pull requests in GitHub

•60.61% of survey respondents think that a tag recommendation tool is useful.•We propose a method FNNRec which uses feed-forward neural network to recommend tags.•FNNRec outperforms TagDeepRec and TagMulRec by substantial margins.
