Educommunication Projects as Tools for Social Work with Youth in Northeast Brazil

Qualitative research, with questionnaires applied to young people attended by the Salesian Youth Articulation in northeastern Brazil. It analyzes how educommunication projects can help the social educator in the theme of violence. Data are presented indicating that these young people have already suffered violence in society by police officers, family members or unknown persons. The references in relation to youth and the use of digital technologies lead us to propose that the projects of educommunication invest in the personal and social formation of the young, mediated by the actions of the social educator.
