The teaching gaze. Evaluation of the perception of the faculty about family participation and involvement

Objective. The relationship that must exist between family and school is an indisputable fact in the scientific community and in society. Family and school increasingly collaborate pursuing the same objective but both groups differ when it comes to evaluating the commitment to educational development and the context in general. For this reason, the purpose of this study is to analyze the teachers' perception of family participation and involvement in an educational center and their degree of availability to inclusion projects. Methodology. A self-made questionnaire was used to collect information. Results and conclusion. The results show how teachers think that the families do not usually collaborate in the educational center. Despite this, they indicate that they would be willing to participate in family inclusion projects.
