摘要
We read with great interest the results of the randomised double-blind controlled trial of platelet-rich plasma (PRP) versus corticosteroid in caudal epidural injection for complex chronic degenerative spinal pain by Ruiz-Lopez and Tsai.1 This is a high-quality study with a Jadad score of 4. A significant difference in pain scores was seen at the 6-month observation point and there was a uniform improvement across multiple SF-36 subdomains in the PRP group but not in the corticosteroid group.
