In this paper, the modeling and real time simulation of a distributed renewable energy access (DREA) based on photovoltaic energy conversion system (PVECS) is presented. The production of power based on PV panels array always depends of the environmental conditions, as solar irradiance fluctuations, which this can several impacts at the power production, increasing the voltage unbalance at the point Common Coupling (PCC). Therefore, this paper proposes a robust control law to transfer the input power produced by a PVECS to an AC infinite bus, without voltage variations. To verify the functionality of the proposed methodology, the DREA simulation in MATLAB-Simulink® (MATLAB r2015aSPl, MathWorks, Natick, MA, USA) is analyzed, and the laboratory tests using the concept of Model In the Loop (MIL) and the real-time simulator Opal-RT Technologies® (Montreal, QC, Canada) is achieved. The obtained results show a robust and effective methodology generating a total output power of15 KW from the PVECS.
