摘要
The results revealed that the trained dairy farmers exhibited medium to a high level of these different entrepreneurial attributes whereas, majority of the untrained dairy farmers possessed medium to the low level of such attributes. The overall analysis of the entrepreneurial behaviour showed that the majority of the trained farmers had medium to high (56.67 to 43.33 percent) level of the entrepreneurial behaviour whereas the majority of the untrained dairy farmers had medium to low (65 to 35 percent) level of the entrepreneurial behaviour. The statistical analysis revealed that the independent variables of the trained farmers such as education, dairy experience, operational land holding, herd size, annual income, economic motivation, scientific orientation, and market orientation were positively and significantly correlated at 0.01 level of probability with their entrepreneurial behaviour but age of the respondents was negatively and significantly correlated at 0.05 level of probability with their entrepreneurial behaviour. The remaining characteristics such as family size and extension participation were non-significantly associated with entrepreneurial behaviour. In case of untrained dairy farmers, education, operational land holding, herd size, annual income, and economic motivation exhibited a positive and significant relationship at 0.01 level of probability with entrepreneurial behaviour and dairy experience was in positive and significant relationship at 0.05 level of probability, However, age, family size, scientific orientation, market orientation, and extension participation were non-significantly correlated with the entrepreneurial behaviour of the untrained dairy farmers.
