摘要

We propose a large core multimode fibre for short distance communications. We demonstrated 24 GHz.km peak modal bandwidth in the 850 nm window, connector offset tolerance up to 10 mu m, and 25G error-free multimode VCSEL transmission over 500 m of such fibre.
