摘要

•Effects of sodium valproate (VPA) injection were previously studied in T. infestans.•Chromatin textural changes were not globally detected.•New results on cell accessibility to VPA in an organ culture are presented.•VPA-induced chromocenter unravelling affects only a few cells.•H3K9 acetylation is not detected in the chromocenter of the VPA-treated cells.
