Voxel-based morphometric MRI post-processing and PET/MRI co-registration reveal subtle abnormalities in cingulate epilepsy

•Presurgical evaluation of patients with MRI-negative cingulate epilepsy (MRI-negative CE) is challenging.•Ten patients with MRI-negative CE were assessed using MAP and PET/MRI co-registration.•MRI post-processing and PET/MRI co-registration complements with each other.•MAP and PET/MRI co-registration are useful in MRI-negative CE.
