摘要

•Mid infrared (ATR-FTIR) spectroscopy to identify the main raw materials in bar soaps.•Bar soaps were analyzed without previous preparation.•PCA showed distinct clusters of samples based on the type of raw material.•Both classifier methods, PLS-DA and DD-SIMCA, were able to correctly classify all samples in their correspondent classes.
