Synthetic Sea-Clutter for Long Integration Processing
EURAD 2020 THE 17TH EUROPEAN RADAR CONFERENCE(2021)
摘要
artificial environments are of primary importance for radar performance prediction and industrial development, especially for maritime radars where the generation of true-to-life sea echoes is particularly useful. The detection of small targets by heavy sea conditions involves using very long integration times. These can be either long coherent integration times or processing on several target observations, e.g. Scan-To-Scan integration or its improved version Track-Before-Detect. All these processing take advantage of the spatial and temporal correlation properties of sea clutter, which must be well modelled to obtain realistic clutter generation and thus reliable simulation.
