摘要
In this work, the variance of specific absorption rate (SAR) in a 3-D anatomical model of the human head is estimated using the stochastic finite difference time domain (S-FDTD) method. A half wave dipole antenna is placed in the near field of the ear at 835 MHz. The conductivity and permittivity of the head tissues are presumed to be varying randomly. The obtained results show that these statistical variations can significantly vary the magnitude of SAR.
