Accuracy Evaluation Method for Electromechanical Transient Model of Dynamic Reactive Power Compensation Device Applied to Renewable Power Station

At present, the grid-connected performance of renewable power stations at home and abroad is evaluated by means of modeling and simulation, and the influence of each component model on the evaluation performance can not be ignored. In renewable power station, the model accuracy of photovoltaic inverters and wind power converters can be evaluated based on the test data of full-condition type, but the dynamic reactive power compensation device can not carry out full-condition type test because of its high voltage level and large capacity, so the model verification can not be carried out accordingly. In this paper, a model accuracy evaluation method of static var generator (SVG) based on hardware-inthe-loop(HIL) test data and model verification is proposed. By establishing a validated HIL test environment, the test data of SVG controller under full-condition power grid disturbance are obtained, and the simulation data are based on test data and evaluation model. The deviation is used to evaluate the accuracy of SVG model, which provides an accurate model support for the grid-connected performance evaluation of renewable power stations.
