摘要
In this work, a circularly polarized beamforming technique is demonstrated on 3D random arrays to preliminarily emulate a wireless phased array morphing in the air. Sixteen linearly polarized patch antennas acted as swarming radiators, and each antenna was positioned randomly in a 3D volume. The experiment was conducted in an anechoic chamber to alleviate multipath effects, and the measured results were benchmarked using simulations to verify the fidelity of the beamforming algorithm.
