A permanência do pensamento de Celso Furtado: Editorial

Celso Furtado\u0027s centenary is celebrated in 2020, and the RBI pays tribute to this great Brazilian. Celso Furtado thought Brazil in an interdisciplinary way and expressed his interpretation through a work consistent with his main concern: overcoming underdevelopment. This work inspired and nourished the debate about Brazil throughout the second half of the twentieth century, and remains alive in the current question about why the country remains underdeveloped, despite the advances achieved by the productive structure and the increase in income.
