摘要

•The phase constituents of AlxCrFeNi MEAs can be significantly adjusted by tuning x within narrow region between 0.3 and 0.4.•A novel microstructure consisted of FCC distributed on the grain boundaries of BCC phase was found for the Al0.37CrFeNi MEA.•The Al0.37CrFeNi MEA shows higher damping capacity of 0.07093 and comprehensive compression properties.
