摘要

•Hypotension thresholds in ICU patients are predominantly based on an absolute MAP.•A general threshold is most commonly used, independent of patient category.•The median threshold to define hypotension is a MAP of 65 mmHg.•Regarding definition, no differences between nurses and physicians were reported.•Nurses reported a higher estimation of hypotension incidence and duration.
