Transport of chlorinated paraffins (CPs) from baking oven doors into the food

摘要
•Single chain chloroparaffins (C12-CPs and C15-CPs) were used in spike experiments.•Low CP amounts were spiked on baking oven doors and coconut fat served as matrix.•After a regular baking oven operation, ~2–6% of CPs were transferred into the fat.•CP transfer was influenced by chain length, operation program and baking oven type.•Baking of food in contaminated baking ovens may increase the daily CP intake.
