Bending and free vibration analyses of circular stiffened plates using the FSDT mesh-free method

•An improved meshfree model for circular stiffened plates is introduced.•A meshfree formulation for free vibration and flexure analysis of circular stiffened plates is proposed.•The meshfree characteristic of the proposed method guarantee that no meshes are used in deriving the static and dynamic equations of the members, therefore the proposed method is more flexible in studying problems for which remeshing is inevitable with the finite element method.
