摘要

•A zinc-based coordination polymer, [Zn2(DABA)3(CH3OH)] (ZCP), was synthesized.•ZCP showed high antibacterial activity towards E. coli and S. aureus.•The antibacterial mechanism might be related to the ROS production.•ZCP showed remarkable prospect in application of bacterial infection .
