A comprehensive study of the phase composition, morphology, and texture of titanium dioxide nanopowder prepared by precipitation from an aqueous solution of TiCl 4 was carried out. The result was compared with two commercial TiO 2 powders. The acid–base properties of the surface, the charge and change in size of titanium dioxide nanoparticles during their aggregation in aqueous suspensions were studied. A comparative analysis of the influence of the studied characteristics of the nanopowders on their photocatalytic activity and phytoprotective properties was carried out.
