Doping of CuSc3–xLnxS5 (Ln = Y, Lu) Compounds with the Spinel Structure

摘要
The method of solid-phase synthesis was used to obtain the compound
CuSc3S5, which crystallizes to
form a spinel structure (Fd
$$\overline 3 $$
m). The regions of the
compound doping with yttrium and lutetium ions were calculated. It was found by
X-ray phase and microstructural analyses that the spinel structure is preserved
for CuSc3–xYxS5 (x = 0‒0.4) and CuSc3–xLuxS5
(x = 0‒0.7) compounds. The unit cell
parameter of the compound increases in direct proportion to the dopant ion
amount.
