A partially hydrolyzed formula with synbiotics supports adequate growth and is well tolerated in healthy, Chinese term infants: A double-blind, randomized controlled trial

•To our knowledge, this was the first equivalence study on partially hydrolyzed infant formula combined with a specific synbiotic.•Adequate growth, safety, and suitability were confirmed in healthy, term-born Chinese infants.•Growth and tolerance outcomes in the test and control formula groups were comparable to the breastfed reference.
