摘要
Fever due to Helicobacter cinaedi bacteremia under chemotherapy has not been widely recognized among clinicians. We experienced a 72-year-old man with diffuse large B-cell lymphoma, who was complicated with H. cinaedi bacteremia-induced fever under R-CHOP chemotherapy. We summarized 6 cases including ours, suggesting that fever without neutropenia developing around day 6 from starting chemotherapy is a possible symptom caused by H. cinaedi bacteremia. We should discriminate fever due to H. cinaedi bacteremia if fever emerged before myelosuppression in the course of chemotherapy. (C) 2021 The Author(s). Published by S. Karger AG, Basel
