Design and Simulation of Broadband UHF Microstrip Meander Antennas for an RFID Reader

摘要
This article presents the design of Ultra High Frequency (UHF) broadband microstrip meander antennas for Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) with possible application to Internet-of-Things scenarios. Two antenna models are proposed with two different types of feeding, one with coaxial feed and the other one with Y junction. Simulation results show an omnidirectional characteristic, adequate beamwidth and low value for S11 parameter.
