摘要
Nanosized material and Terahertz science are developing rapidly as new cross-disciplinary areas in recent decades. Nano-based technology (nanotech) is manipulation of natural or artificial matter on an atomic, molecular, and supramolecular scale ranged from 0.1 nm to 100nm. Terahertz is defined as some waves' frequency located from 0.1 THz to 10THz just between millimeter waves and infrared. There are such Terahertz technologies as non-destructive imaging and security inspection screening technology, communication technology as well as Terahertz Water technology and Tele-inverse technology. As nanotech and/or Terahertz technology would play important roles in environmental science and engineering, we have set up a new open course in Jiaxing University.
