Submerged Lactic Acid Fermentation By Mixed Cultures Of Lactobacilli

摘要
The submerged fermentative production of lactic acid by mixed cultures of Lactobacillus leishmanni + Lactobacillus bulgaricus and L. leishmannii L. bulgaricus + L. delbrueckii was studied. It has been forund that association of L. leishmannii with L. bulgaricus slightly enhances the yield of lactic acid, while the mixed cultures of L. leishmannii, L. bulgaricus and L. delbrueckii is as effective as L. leishmannii alone.
