摘要

The goal of this research is to underpin the main factors that discourage students from majoring in the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) related majors such as Computer Science and Computer Engineering. Our research results are based on a survey conducted by 87 freshmen that chose not to pursue a degree in ICT at a small size university. Based on this survey, we highlight the main factors that contributed to such a decision.
