Selective Laser Melting (SLM) uses laser beam to melt powder and rapidly build a 3D metallic part based on a computer aided design (CAD). Processing parameters of SLM significantly influences the performance of built parts. This study aims to investigate the influence of processing parameters on SLM method. Cubic Ti6Al4V SLM samples have been successfully built using different processing parameters such as laser power, scanning speed and hatch distance. The samples microstructure and microhardness were successfully investigated. It was found that high microhardness at 389 HV can be obtained with laser power of 325 W and laser speed of 1100 mm/s.
