摘要
In this paper, we propose new receiver and transmitter architectures to use the Discrete Wavelet Packet Transform (DWPT) and its inverse transform (IDWPT) as a communication medium for wireless body sensor networks. The proposed original transmitter's and receiver's architectures are able to configure the number of sensors due to the considered regular and symmetric structures allowing to modify the wavelet for suitable transmission. To prove the feasibility of the proposed system, we designed architectures of receiver (DWPT) and transmitter (IDWPT) based on Db4 wavelet (8-tap filter), and synthesized the reconstruction and decomposition Mallat's algorithm targeted on FPGA Virtex-7. The FPGA implementation of IDWPT and DWPT architectures only requires 30877 LUT and 40174 LUT, respectively, while providing low power consumption and proving their integration in embedded bio-devices and bio-sensors for wireless body sensor networks.
