Roger Harrington And Shielded Planar Microwave Electromagnetic Analysis

Roger Harrington had major influence in many areas of electromagnetics with his formalization of the method of moments. This paper describes his influence in the early application of the method of moments to analysis of shielded planar microwave circuits. This narrative is based on the author's personal experience starting as a graduate student under Roger Harrington in developing and then commercializing method of moments over a period of 35 years.
