Equipment Condition Monitoring System based on Multi-source Heterogeneous Data

Due to the increasing demands on the efficiency and reliability of the machining process, the equipment condition monitoring system towards the machining workshop is important. To develop the monitoring system, it is essential to acquire and process data from workshop equipment. Considering the complex machining environment and diverse equipment in the workshop, it is challenging to acquiring and processing the data accurately. To this end, this paper proposed an equipment condition monitoring system framework based on multi-source heterogeneous data. Based on the workshop network, a configurable data collection client integrated with multiple industrial field networks is developed to collect heterogeneous data, generated by different types of processing and monitoring equipment in the machining workshop. Then, the multi-source collected data is processed and sent to the database server through RESTful API technology. By identifying the attributes of transmitted data, unified monitoring and management of multi-source data are realized. Developed and applied a monitoring system for machining workshop, which improved the efficiency of multisource data collection and transmission, and realized condition monitoring and production management.
