In recent years, high-speed Railway and inter-city railway have been constructed on a large scale in China. Hereinto, bridges occupy great portion. Most of the selections of bridge structure spanning roads or railways are large continuous beam. Large span continuous beam has the characters of complicate structure, a large number of designs and calculations, and cantilevered method are mostly used in the constructions. Therefore, significant inspection and control plays a vital role in the construction quality. Based on the practical construction inspection and control of five super major bridges on the Changjiu inter-city railway and three super major bridges on the Xiangpu railway, the authors proposed an improved construction method of shape inspection and stress control. A computation module is created through the analysis of structure status, construction condition, construction load, second permanent load, and live load of continuous beam bridge. And then calculate the internal force and deflection of every construction stage and final bridge. Then compute the preset camber and mold's elevation of every stage. Furthermore, the paper proposes the various errors produced during the construction and their impact, expounds the requirement of stress test, calculates and contrasts the values of stress. These will play important role on guidance of construction and quality guarantee.
