The alpha-Fe2O3 nanofibers were prepared by the transform chemical precipitation using NaOH and FeSO4 center dot 7H2O. The reaction conditions were that: the concentration of FeSO4 solution was 0.1mol center dot L-1 and NaOH solution was 4mol center dot L-1, dripping speed of NaOH solution was 50mL center dot min-1, reacting temperature was 20 degrees C, pH value of final titration was 12, mixing speed was 1200r center dot min-1, torrefaction temperature was 320 degrees C, torrefaction time was 1 hour. The XRD and TEM analyzed results indicate that: the sample was pure alpha-Fe2O3 crystal phase, the diameter of alpha-Fe2O3 sample is about 2-20nm and the length is about 100-600nm.
