Teicoplanin In The Treatment Of Bone Infection
10TH MEDITERRANEAN CONGRESS OF CHEMOTHERAPY(1996)
摘要
Teicoplanin is a new glycopeptide antibiotic with activity against Gram positive bacteria, including methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus. Because of its long half-life, teicoplanin may be administered once daily either intravenously or intramuscularly. (1) In this study we assessed the efficacy and tolerability of teicoplanin along with amikacin in the treatment of bone and joint infections versus ticarcillin + clavulanic acid. Teicoplanin seems to be more useful than ticarcillin + clavulanic acid in order to obtain a clinical improvements.
