Lifetime Measurements In The Transitional Nucleus Sm-150
PROCEEDINGS OF SAIP2013: THE 58TH ANNUAL CONFERENCE OF THE SOUTH AFRICAN INSTITUTE OF PHYSICS(2013)
摘要
Weakly populated band structures have been established in the nucleus Sm-150 at low to medium spins following the Xe-136(O-18, 4n) Sm-150 fusion evaporation reaction at 75 MeV. The band built on the second 0(+) state has been established. Lifetime measurements have been performed by the Doppler Shift Attenuation method in the positive-parity S-band. Experimental transition strengths B(E2) together with angular-intensity ratios and linear polarization were measured. The preliminary results support the strong collective interpretation.
