摘要

•Graphite felt anodized in NH4HCO3 solution has firstly been used for H2O2 production.•Beneficial functional groups COO and C=O has been successfully introduced onto electrodes surface by anodic oxidation.•The ORR kinetics has been enhanced by surface modification.•The effect of modified conditions, potentials, O2 flux rate and pH has been optimized.
