ID: 3520683 CLINICOPATHOLOGICAL FACTORS ASSOCIATED WITH MAJOR RECURRENCE AFTER SALVAGE ENDOSCOPIC RESECTION FOR PATIENTS WITH LOCAL FAILURE AFTER DEFINITIVE CHOMORADIOTHERAPY FOR STAGE I ESOPHAGEAL SQUAMOUS CELL CARCINOMA
Gastrointestinal endoscopy(2021)
摘要
Local failure remains one of the major problems of definitive chemoradiotherapy (CRT) for esophageal squamous cell carcinoma (ESCC). Salvage endoscopic resection (sER) has been performed for superficial local failure, and its technical feasibility and favorable local control were reported, especially in clinical (c) Stage I ESCC. However, major recurrence, which requires more invasive treatment than repeated sER, is a clinical issue after sER, and little is known about the factors associated with major recurrence.
