Evidence Of Linear Magnetoelectric Effect In Mn4nb2o9 Single Crystal

Magnetoelectric properties were carefully studied on Mn4Nb2O9 single crystal. With a clear anomaly on the temperature dependent dielectric constant at T-N = 107 K, we measured the pyroelectric under different magnetic field. Magnetodielectric is proportional to H-2, which is a typical sign of linear magnetoelectric effect. Polarization varies with the magnetic field in a positive correlation. All evidence shows Mn4Nb2O9 is a linear magnetoelectric material. (C) 2021 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
