Validation of 3D Printed Templates for Physician Modified Endografts
Journal of vascular surgery(2021)
摘要
Despite advances in surgical techniques, thoracoabdominal aneurysms (TAAA) continue to have significant surgical morbidity and mortality. Physician-modified (PMEG) and parallel (“chimney”) endografts remain the only options for high-risk patients who are too unstable to wait for custom endograft production. Physician-created fenestrations can be unreliable, and are heavily dependent on experience and proficiency with the technology. 3D printing equipment presents a potential for reduction in variability, which could improve reproducibility of PMEG devices.
