Abstract
Absorber preparation is a crucial process in the CIGS solar cell device fabrication. H2Se is more commonly used in two stage absorber formation process. It is also important to search for different alternatives for absorber preparation to reduced hazardous and storage risks associated with Hydrogen selenide. Here in this paper, we have used the mixture of hydrogen and Diethyl Selenide for absorber preparation. Raman spectra are recorded for the prepared absorber. Further, Solar cells with device efficiency 9.2% (without antireflection) were obtained from Diethyl selenide processed absorber layer.
