Study on traceability of field calibrator

There are two main forms of the electric energy meter: laboratory test and field test. Field calibrator is the mainstream of the energy meter field testing equipment. At present, China does not have the on-site verification of the special verification procedures or testing standards. The test of the field calibrator reference to the standard meter test procedures for testing, and do not test the current clamp equipped with the field calibrator. In this paper, two kinds of connection methods of electric energy meter are measured, and the measurement system is established on the basis of standard table method. The error and temperature coefficient of field calibrator under different wiring ways are tested. Through the data analysis, it is confirmed that the change of the wiring way of the calibrator of the electric energy meter will have great influence on the precision of the calibrator.
