Dynamics Of Soil Use And Coverage In The Hydrographic Basin Of Rio Munim - Ma, 1984 - 2018

The use of geotechnologies in the territorial management of river basins is a tool that has been intensifying each year and has become indispensable for the planning and maintenance of territorial occupation of these areas. This study had as objective to evaluate changes in the vegetation cover of the Munim River basin (BHRM) with the aid of remote sensing techniques. There were utilized images of the satellite Landsat 5 and 8 in the period from 1984 to 2018, realized the process of supervisioned classification and validation of the classification through satellite image of high resolution. It was noticeable the tendency to a progessive growth in the total defined area as exposed soil considering raise of 13,23% of area in relation to the year of 1984. Through the years the BHRM lost a substantial quantity of the vegetation cover. In the year of 2018 the class of land use "dense vegetation" predominates with 40.76% of area.
